Once you have successfully reduced and discharged the allostatic load in your nervous system from chronic and traumatic stress, widened your window of tolerance (capacity), returned to safety (regulation), and established greater resilience, authentic recovery is possible.
After struggling with severe anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and 40+ chronic symptoms for most of my life, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in 2016. I intuitively knew I needed to change my habits to regain my wellness, so I embarked on a holistic journey. I started with extreme diet changes (AIP and other autoimmune protocols) and lifestyle practices like hot yoga and daily juicing.
Although my symptoms improved, I realized I was still operating from fear, control, rigidity, and perfectionism, which kept me overwhelmed. My stress had shifted from school and work to obsessing over healing. I began focusing on my mindset, mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork, and that's when I started to feel my mind and body slowly recover. I unknowingly had created a sense of safety that moved my nervous system from protection to connection.
After becoming a holistic health coach in 2019, I noticed my clients shared similar patterns that were keeping them symptomatic —high stress, survival parts, trauma backgrounds, and nervous system dysregulation. I then learned about the PolyVagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, and the role of the vagus nerve in chronic illness, and it put everything I had experienced and witnessed with my clients into perspective.
In 2023, after extensive research, I officially transitioned into a mind|body coach to provide my clients with life-changing information about PVT to help them apply these principles to their lives and health. It also allowed me to integrate my personal wisdom and profound insight gained to create a unique process for nervous system regulation and mind|body healing.

Since 2016, I’ve been on my holistic healing journey. I’ve spent over fifty thousand dollars on my health and tried all the autoimmune protocols, restrictive diets, treatments, modalities, and everything in between to heal. Nothing has helped me heal more than bringing my nervous system out of survival mode. I received my coaching certification in 2019 and have worked as a coach since then.
With my prior college education in psychology and therapy (I am not licensed), personal experience, knowledge, and wisdom gained over the years from my own journey and working with clients, I feel I have profound, valuable, and unique insight into healing chronic symptoms and illness. Of course, there are no quick fixes or hacks to nervous system regulation and resiliency, but there are gentle resources that can effectively send cues of safety to down or up-regulated defenses and ease sensations and symptoms.
Depending on your current nervous system’s capacity, level of activation, and protection patterns, we will skillfully use a tool that appropriately matches (only bottom-up).
